I have no idea. I was at the park, looking for a spot to draw, when I heard it and then saw it. They're all over the duck pond and creek.

This arrived for me today.

[Finn holds up a book. It's obviously not from this world, judging by the way it's bound. It's also clear that this book's been read quite a bit. Scrawled across the front is the title Immortal Blood.]

I know that one. [He smiles.] One of my brothers always kept a copy, after our Purification of the Crimson Scars.

I must have read this book over a dozen times.

Did you know there's a red version of nirnroot? It only grows underground in this specific cavern in Skyrim, but it exists.

I've been told the advice within is partly valid for those who favor unarmed combat, like the poor, doomed hunter. My brother was quite fond of critiquing it.

I had never heard of those. I've only seen a few nirnroot in my time at all. There might be more on Earth than in all of Tamriel, if you found so many today. [He'll have to listen for them.]

Nirnroot is slightly more common in my time. I even met a farmer who figured out a way to grow them. Apparently the secret is jazbay grapes.

By the way, did I tell you that I've been seeing someone since last month?

Have you encountered any difficulties regarding that issue? [Which could manifest in any number of things, in his own experience.]

I mean, he's got acidic blood, but we've been very careful not to do anything that might make that an issue.

[No hard biting or scratching during sex, for starters.]

Oh, but get this, his species has two dicks.

...Ah. [That is. A lot to take in, honestly.] Would that skin suit of his make for adequate protecting against accidentally drawing blood?

Well, I imagine if he got a scrape, it would tear the skin suit before reaching his scales, and surface cuts might only mar the suit.

In that case, it might be worth using it when possible.

He usually wears it when he's out in public, but he likes to take it off when he's at home.

[So far they've never had sex while he's wearing the skin suit.]

I mean, handsome as he is with it on, he's gorgeous when he just looks like himself. His scales have a nice texture to them, and he's got these eyes that are the most lovely shade of yellow.

Ah. [And he doesn't need the implication spelled out there, he's caught it well enough on his own. But Finn seems quite taken with this man, and that is important in itself.]

The color is quite striking. [Personally, he found the human-like face to be slightly off-putting, but that was not something he needed to share.] What does he know about you? If he ever encounters the two of us together, I must take care not to undermine you.
